Whether players are experienced beach volleyball players or just starting, The Sand Club is offering a youth beach volleyball league designed for beginner to intermediate level players. All ages are welcome to drop in and train. Each player will be assigned a coach to learn the essential skills of the game such as serving, setting, passing, and ball control. This junior sand volleyball program emphasizes skill development, teamwork, building strong relationships, and, most importantly, having fun!

ROUND ROBIN FORMAT
Each event players will play 3 rounds of round robin for a total of 8-9 games depending on the number of players. Round 1, players will be assigned a pool with 3 players. Round 2, players are shuffled base on their round 1 performance and assigned a new pool with 3 different players. Round 3, players are assigned with 3 players with a similar record and point differential. All games are to 15 points, cap at 15 with no timeouts. Therefore, one roaming coach will be provided for The Sand Club team at each event.

MEET OUR BEACH-TRAINED VOLLEYBALL COACHES
Coach Casey is also the head varsity coach for the Gilbert Classical Spartans, which means she has a current fingerprint clearance card, completed the NFHS certification courses (Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion, Bullying, Hazing, COVID-19, Heat Illness Prevention) and high school best practice training. Casey is mother of two, so she understands the patience of working with younger players.
Coach Heather played 35 AVP professional events from 2003-2008 on just about every beach from California to Texas to Chicago to Florida. Now, Coach Heather is a teacher at Mohave Middle School by day and Beach Cap Certified Coach by night and also works with players on their speed, agility and vertical training.
