JUNIOR TRAINING PROGRAMS
The Sand Club is excited to announce that players training at Mesquite Beach in September will begin every practice with Cognitive Agility Training. Co-developed with Coach Cummings from BlazePod and using evidence-based research, our trained coaches will run through a series of volleyball specific drills. This will help each player improve their individual volleyball specific athleticism. This training combines volleyball specific movements, skill specific execution and neuro-cognitive processing that allows athletes of all levels to enhance their abilities as volleyball players both physical and mental to become smarter athletes and allow them to accomplish their future goals…and that’s just the first 10-15 minutes of practice. Every month we will cover beach volleyball skills training followed by game-like competitions. All skill level are welcome because there are 4 courts with a coach per training team. NO TRYOUTS. START TODAY! SUMMER FUN FOR EVERYONE!
Start training any time with a program for everyone, whether you are just starting, polishing your skills, or ready to take your game to the next level. The Sand Club’s goal is to share our passion for the game and create a safe, diverse, fun-first volleyball culture while introducing fundamentals and advanced skills. Our club is designed to help players improve their serving, passing, setting, attacking, and defensive skills, and gain an understanding of the rules of sand volleyball.
The biggest difference between traditional indoor clubs and The Sand Club is a more relaxed atmosphere and you don’t have to worry about making the team. There are NO BENCHES IN BEACH VOLLEYBALL. All players receive equal training time. New members receive practice shirts and player insurance. There is no need for knee pads or shoes. Some players prefer to wear Sand Socks but they are completely optional.
All coaches have background checks and fingerprint clearance cards.
